Fundraising Update

The past week has seen a significant increase in the amount of money raised and pledged since the launch although the number of donors has only increased from 75 to 100. The total since the launch is R2,047,980 an increase of R695,200. Thank you for some magnificent responses.
The largest number of responses has come from the 1990's and the year groups with the most responses are 1968, 1990 and 1994. The totals for the various decades are:
Pre 1950: 12,500
1950's: 595,700 ( Target; 1,600,000 ) 37%
1960's: 114,100 ( Target: 4,400,000 ) 3%
1970's: 825,000 ( Target: 5,500,000 ) 18%
1980's: 124,840 ( Target: 5,000,000 ) 3%
1990's 186,200 ( Target: 3,400,000 ) 6%
2000's 121,240 ( Target: 1,000,000 ) 12%
OTHERS 68,400
While the figures are looking pretty good in terms of what has come in, translated into percentages in terms of targets, we have a long way to go.
I do believe that all the payment gremlins have been sorted out and we do apologise to those who have experienced frustration. Please follow the requirements line by line and please ensure that you let all know to return their pledge statements to Mrs Bloemink.
