Fundraising Update

Once again our Total in terms of donations has risen by a further R108,740 to R3,810,762 from 299 donors. We are hoping, within the next few weeks to have a permanent "spreadsheet" on the website in which the weekly position of each year - money and number of donors - will be featured. My task at the moment is to contact the poorly performing years to try to get them on the board before we do the weekly census.
Well done to Mark Grondel and his team of the Class of 2000 - they have moved into the lead as far as the number of donors is concerned.
We are updating the decade barometers in this update. By way of explanation, I have included 6 figure donations in the grand total but as explained previously we only reflect 10% of the 6 figure donations in the year groups otherwise the totals in some cases exceed the target which is not healthy for the overall goal. I repeat, this has been done with the knowledge and approval of the donors.
As we approach R4 million since the launch, thank you to all the donors. Please steer your mates towards the website and encourage them to make a contribution.
